Hard Times

[The Holographic Rodeo]

Hi all - my first post of one of my own songs on here. I originally wrote this a couple of years ago, but am currently working on a project trying to re-record things applying the extra knowledge and improved software that I have now compared to when I first got started. Like all my songs, this ones recorded at home using Logic Pro, and using mostly UAD and Izotope plugins for mixing. Guitars were recorded using a line 6 'Stomp'.

Still very much in the 'trying to figure stuff out' stage when it comes to recording and production so all advice and feedback welcome here.

Great track. Even though this is not my style of music or production that I do, I do like this kind of music. I would gladly listen to a full album like this. I'd say you nailed the mix as well. I would just put a bit more reverb on things... just kidding, of course

But seriously, I do hear several progressive tendencies. If I were to produce this track, I would prog the hell out of it
