Hear, hear. In the meantime, this subreddit seems to be a never-ending drama source (sung to the tune of "The Never-Ending Story" obviously).
I think you are over-reacting about this.

Can't find the drama zone. Forum needs more drama.
It will happen. It is still a little new, but I am sure there will be a PC v Mac or Reaper v every other DAW argument eventually. Or, more likely a "You gotta have 4 chords!" v "3 chords are plenty, why waste the money on a 4th chord, or, heaven forbid, a 5th chord!!!"

ETA: Thinking about it, maybe we do need some drama. Drama makes great pop/rock songs. Bring me some DRAMA!!!!

 For starters, we already have a drama going on here............. go figure.

LOLOLOL!!!! That literally made me spit out my diet Mountain Dew!!!!
Thanks, although you know I'm gonna have to delete it pretty soon. (Yes, I'm a coward.)

By the way, "Diet Mountain Dew" has been a guilty pleasure for me lately, going back to when J.D. Vance was put into the spotlight and the media was making a thing about his preference for Mountain Dew. (I could be mixing this story up, and maybe it was someone else? Definitely a Republican, though, hence the "guilty pleasure." Which ... how messed up is that that I would feel guilty about liking a Republican's favorite soda?)

Anyway, my grandparents were from Texas, and my brother and I would have that when we visited. (Grandma's southern drawl of "Would you boys like some Mountain Dew?" was half the attraction.) So I bought some, just to remember what it was like, and ... damn! That's good stuff! Well, in a white trash sort of way, but at my heart, white trash is what I am, so dammit, Ima drink it with pride!

Ugh... Diet Mountain Dew is my vice. Even though it's only 5-10 calories a bottle, it's definitely helping to pack on the pounds. Every time the city comes to pick up my recycling bin, it rains green plastic into their truck. I tried switching to Propel water, and even Propel with 0-calorie Tang added, but when I'm at my computer working, nothing can replace the lemony-lime goodness of that concoction of unpronounceable, toxic chemicals.

About Diet Mountain Dew… @Polkasound @Mike Greene

I would never have thought that I could like this stuff so much. It looks as if it comes straight out of a comic book or a nuclear waste facility or out of the water tap in Idiocracy. But when I made my trip to the USA and had the first sip of ice cool Diet Mountain Dew in the freaking hot desert sun it hit me instantly. So even now when I see it in stores here in Germany I am reminded of the unique experience on the highways and think about buying one just to get a fragment of that cool feeling once more.

Where do you think I got it from? :2thumbs: The Reaper users go a little overboard in their DAW defense.
Defending why you use your DAW is fine by me. I did that myself when I used Reaper before, and still do it sometimes (when I get sucked in) for my current DAW, Reason. It's this evangelic tendency to tell everyone they use the wrong DAW and you should be using Reaper instead, which is tiresome and frankly just stupid. The Bitwig gang suffers from the same deformation :p

Another one I want to know: “Should I move to LA…I mean Nashville?”

What I want to know is which DAW is the best?
The best DAW is the one that works for you. They all have good points and bad points. The one that you will use is the best. For me, it is ProTools because it is the only one I can finish a song in without getting distracted trying to figure out how to do something.
